Circular economy in the built environment<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Objective<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Initiate the implementation of a circular economy for construction and demolition waste in the Mediterranean basin, by promoting the recycling and reuse of materials in road infrastructure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Technology transfer and support for public and private stakeholders.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Development of national technical guides for the recovery of construction and demolition waste (CDW).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Training of engineers and experts on recycling and the circular economy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Drafting of environmental standards and clauses integrating recycling into public procurement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Development of macro and microeconomic models promoting investment in the circular sector.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Creation of tools for assessing the environmental, social and economic sustainability of infrastructure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Implementation of experimental pilot projects demonstrating the technical and environmental feasibility of recycling.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
